Religiöse Flugblätter
Gestern hat mir am Bahnhof eine Dame mit Rock und funkelnden Augen einen Flyer in die Hand gedrückt. Darauf stand in blutroten Lettern: “Selbstmord? Nach der Tat gehts weiter!”. Darunter ein Photo eines Business-Man, das Gesicht verzweifelt in den Händen versunken, ein Galgenstrick an der Decke. Die sich mir kurz stellende Frage, ob ich denn besonders Selbstmordgefährdet aussehe verflog bald wieder, denn ein Blick zurück verriet: die verwirrte Frau deckte einfach wahllos jedermann mit besagtem Flyer ein. Der mit Bibelzitaten gespickte Text hatte in etwa folgende, zugegeben wenig überraschende Grundaussage: Bringe dich nicht um mein Sohn, denn Gott mag das nicht und schickt dich in die Hölle, wo du in alle Ewigkeit Höllenqualen erleiden musst, und so weiter und so fort. Irgendwie entlarvend für diese Leute: Nicht all die schönen Dinge, die Freuden des Lebens sind die besten Gründe gegen Selbstmord – vermutlich weil viele dieser Freuden angeblich von Gott auch nicht gerne gesehen werden und ebenfalls zu ewigen Höllenqualen führen – sondern die schiere Angst, in alle Ewigkeit vom Teufel gefoltert zu werden.
